Testimonials

At few, We are passionate about making an impact in the lives of others.

I am a proud supporter and contributor of Freedome Enterprises Worldwide and am inspired to assist in their commitment to presenting excellence whether in education, the arts, environmental work or whatever ways FEW uses to promote and encourage community involvement  or engagement that leads to growth and change.  Everything I’ve experienced at FEW, the Prayer Works Event, the 100 Black Authored Books Program, the Library Cafe Ghana, the Blacks & Blues Mother’s Day Concert/Theatrical Series, has been outstanding and innovative.   We must support and promote FEW so that they are able to continue bringing their phenomenal work to the world.

I started watching Library Cafe Ghana just over a year ago.  I found the host, Freedom Nsoroma Lee-El, to be an inspiration, a person with a wonderful vision of the world.  My experience is that I have learned so much about my people.  Library Cafe Ghana manages to give its audience a better understanding of our history, our present and our responsibility to a better future. The participants are exposed to information regarding the role specific individuals/groups or experiences played in the shaping and development of the lives of African people on the continent of Africa and in the  diaspora. My life has been enriched by this platform and I desire to see Library Cafe Ghana continue for a long time to come.

Not only did I find the Blacks & Blues (Mother’s Day) Concert to be touching and inspiring personally, I was amazed at the community that turned out to witness this event. Also I loved that during one of the introductory pieces Freedome included a child from the audience into her monologue. In other words,  Freedome is not only speaking in her own voice, and she is not only speaking to us, she is speaking “as us”.  She is integral to the audience she creates her art for. Her art creates an environment of inclusion that is radical, authentic and sincere. The world is more peaceful and  loving for Freedome’s generosity with her gifts of music, song, dance, and story.
